Oil Firing Technical Association - OFTEC

OFTEC looks after the oil heating and cooking industry throughout the UK and Ireland. They are a trade association responsible for maintaining high standards of appliance manufacture, and maintain the only Government register of 'Competent Persons' who are qualified to work on oil fired heating and cooking appliances.

OFTEC Registered Technicians are trained to government recognised standards and carry the appropriate insurance to work in your home. They will also make sure your oil heating system is working as efficiently as possible, keeping running costs to a minimum.

OFTEC has a standard complaints procedure for customers who are unhappy with work carried out by an OFTEC Registered Technician or Business and members hold public liability insurance.
