High standards To ensure the NFRC contractors offer the highest standards in workmanship and customer service, all contractors are rigorously vetted before joining NFRC and every three years after. A contractor must meet the following vetting criteria: - A satisfactory trading record, including financial stability - Inspections of past contracts to verify quality craft skills and technical competence - Satisfactory public, employers’ and third party insurance cover - Compliance with Health and Safety Legislation - Compliance with the NFRC Code of Practice; British and European Standards and Codes of Practice; and the TrustMark scheme A fair price Once the member contractor has investigated the technical aspects of the job, considered and agreed to the possible courses of action, you will receive a clearly written quote or estimate, giving a fair price for the planned work clearly showing whether VAT is applicable, and setting out the conditions of the contract. NFRC member contractors will offer customers technical and contractual advice in plain English. TrustMark recognises NFRC as a reputable trade association, and all NFRC member contractors are TrustMark accredited.
