What does wedding photography cost?

Some photographers will quote just £400 for your wedding through trustedlocal.com, others will ask for £2,000. So what’s the difference?

Some professionals spend days after your wedding perfecting each digital image.
Producing an album can cost your photographer hundreds of pounds (at least!) in materials alone. If you need to minimise the wedding budget go for an online gallery or disc only package.
Professional wedding photographers will often have thousands of pounds worth of equipment, backup equipment and photographers in case things go wrong, an assistant on the day, full insurance, etc. etc.
Mid week off-season weddings can really help you cut your budget, as can having your photographer only cover a few hours of your wedding day.
Experience costs money! An experienced photographer may be able to get that special photo that others may miss.
You might wish to pay for extra albums for your families or extra photo sessions (such as a boudoir photo session album to give your groom as a wedding present).
